Lollaksi
Driving demand for emerging cloud technology
The Challenge
Creating demand for a new SaaS brand
When I joined Lollaksi in 2012, cloud SaaS was still an emerging technology. The business needed to generate demand, my role was to support sales and build brand credibility in a competitive and fast moving market. As the first commercial hire, and the only person in marketing, my mandate was to launch the Lollaksi brand, create product awareness and deliver leads that would fuel growth.
The Strategy
Product launches, campaigns and trade shows
My role spanned brand building, campaign management, and sales enablement. I created all the product literature, email campaigns, advertorials, and PR activity to introduce Lollaksi's enterprise offerings, Dedacon, Dedavu and Dema-X. I supported the sales team directly presenting products directly at Mobile World Congress and CTIA to prospective partners.
One of the biggest initiatives was launching Datanator, a consumer version of the enterprise cloud product. I developed and deployed the full go-to-market strategy, running advertising across radio, digital banners, social platforms and search ads. this campaign generated early traction, with hundreds of downloads in the first month and valuable insights for a prospective client, who wanted to see it working before agreeing to adopt.
Events were a major focus for Lollaksi's lead generation, I planned and executed Lollaksi's presence at Mobile World Congress 2014, GITEX and CommunicAsia, coordinating the booth design, purchase, UKTI grants, booth activations, and lead-generation campaigns. At MWC 2014, I secured over 100 pre-booked meetings and drove 25% of the 2,000 leads I generated across the five tradeshows I attended at MWC.
The Results
Leads, Downloads, and Market Breakthroughs
Within six months, the Surrey Cricketers went from weekly losses to consistent profitability. The Sunday roast campaign became a signature draw, outperforming nearby rivals who copied the idea. Events and promotions gave the pub a new reputation as one of the busiest venues in the village.

I believe that my role was more than just management; it was the start of my career in marketing strategy. I discovered how the right offer, delivered to the right audience, could change the trajectory of the business. At the same time, I began studying for my CIM Level 4 Diploma in Marketing, which became the foundation for my future career and supported my move into Lollaksi.
